Go from flailing freelancer to stable CEO by building a better design business for you and your clients.

You’re already a killer Designer, knowing the Adobe Creative Suite like the back of your hand.

You could hang out on Pinterest for hours (and you do!) gazing at all the pretty fonts, colors, and logos. Maybe you even delight in figuring out the newest WordPress tricks to make your websites stand out in pixel-perfect infamy.

But it seems like no matter how good of a designer you are, that doesn’t translate into more clients knocking at your digital door.

The clients you do attract treat you like a human doormat, barely paying you minimum wage. A system or process for coming up with designs your clients love is nonexistent. You have no idea how to manage the projects you have so they’re organized, and delivered on-time, on-scope, and on-budget. And, you don’t have a plan in place for how you’re going to reach your revenue goals, because, (gulp!) the idea of looking at your numbers terrifies you to your core.

The thing is, to be a successful freelancer you don’t need to be the best designer.

But you do need to be a damn good business owner.

Most Designer’s brains don’t think that way. We’re creative, right-brainers all the way! We dream in typefaces, color palettes, and Photoshop. (At least I do. Seriously, the “Layers” palette is literally in the sidebars of my dreams sometimes…)

But the good news is, you can learn the left-brained business-side of running your design business so you can stop merely surviving as a freelancer and move toward stability and security with a plan that works for you and your unique personality.

My Miss America Mantra:
I believe Designers make the world a prettier place.

We create and craft our culture with every click of our mouse, every illustration we draw, every photo we manipulate and have the power to attract audiences to causes, businesses, or products just by using our craft. But you can’t be creative or create your art if you’re struggling with how to get that next client so you can pay your rent.

That’s where I come in. Hi, I’m Natalie McGuire and I’m an award-winning Designer + Digital Strategist with over 13 years of experience, 4 years of which I’m managed my own 6-figure design business working with people like Amy Porterfield, David Siteman Garland from The Rise to the Top, and PBS. I mentor struggling Designers so they can charge more money, get more clients, save time on their project, keep their customers happy, and have a better, sustainable business that works for them and their personality.
